Made To Order.

This embroidery was inspired by Mid-century pattern design. I love using collaged shapes to create well balanced compositions. I then like to create flow and texture within the shapes by using different threads and wool.

I have used several different embroidery stitches to create this modern sampler, using a Terracotta tapestry wool, and embroidery threads in Royal Blue and Off White.

The wall hanging measures 41x30cm. Including the brass piece, the hanging is 39 cm high. The fabric is an untreated cotton burlap and has been stretched over a wooden frame. There is a brass piece at the top which can be used to hang the piece.
